Don't forget to check with us if you have lost your pet. It may be at the shelter, waiting for you. If your dog or cat is wearing ID tags, or a rabies vaccination tag, we can trace it and get your pet back home to you. Animals with no ID tags are listed as strays. By Kentucky law, strays only have to be kept five business days. They may then be adopted or put to sleep. For the safety of your pet, PLEASE insure that it is microchipped or wearing tags for proper identification. Please click here for more information on pet identification methods.

Donate a Bed
We have chosen Kuranda dog beds for our boarding facilities because they are so good for our dogs. We still don't have enough for all of our kennels. If you would like to donate a bed so another dog can sleep in proper comfort, please click here.

The Animal's Savior
Jim Willis, 1999

I looked at all the caged animals in the shelter...the cast-offs of human society. I saw in their eyes love and hope, fear and dread, sadness and betrayal. And I was angry.
"God," I said, "this is terrible! Why don't you do something?"
God was silent for a moment and then He spoke softly.
"I have done something," He replied.
"I created You."
